STILL CLAPPING

April 25, 2025

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 1:6

Five years ago, as we stepped into the unknown with joy, I wrote:
“Can I stand now and clap, or is the crescendo to be when we arrive?”

Now, with deep gratitude, I find myself clapping still—not because the story is over, but because God continues to compose something beautiful.

As many of you have heard, I’ve made the decision to step down from administration at Heritage Christian Academy. I want to be clear: this has been a prayerful choice, not a pressured one. I have never felt more supported, cared for, and surrounded by love than I have during these past five years with this community.

Heritage has never been just a job—it’s been a calling, and a shared journey of faith. That’s why this next season is not a departure, but a transition. Our daughters will remain enrolled at HCA, and I remain committed as a Souled-Out leader—walking with Christ, cheering on this school, and continuing to believe in its future with all my heart.

To the staff, students, families, and board—thank you. I’ve seen God’s faithfulness in you, and I still do.

I leave this role with joy, and with these words from Philippians 1:6:
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

The symphony continues—and it is good.

With hope and love,
Mr. Miner
